well, in JAP they do show blood and guts, but if your hit by a beam, your vaperized. Its like getting a gun full of lava, shooting it at someone, then expecting their body to explode.

I still think that it would be a better idea if the characters disintergrated when hit by a beam, would it be hard to make them look like they were phasing out, with a bit of blood and some disintergration?

Gotta model custom gibs, WAIT! Take the gib models and blood effects fromt eh Gunman Chronicles. Alot of gibs, Ribcages, eyes all kinda macabre stuff.
