Really sorry to hear this, Shade - but don't worry... Like ET said, you are a tough guy, and with a bit of determination - you will pull out of this and make the best of your life.

Dude thats terrable. i hope you can still walk and stuff. man......[sniff]

good luck with your legs man, isnt that wierd how stuff like this happens, the cool thing is stuff doesnt just happen for nothing, its happens for a reason. Just think about it, maybe something even more terrable would of happened to you that same day, but this happend to prevent that. Stuff happens. God Bless You.

And if you dont understand what im saying think about it, it will come to you.

my condolences. I offer them completely to you. Losing the use of your legs definately sucks and is something that many of us don't have the strength yet to face. But you've got that strength to get through.

Perhaps in the future you'll have robot legs or something that can shoot lasers. Then you could don a dark costume and become a crime fighter. and if that isn't in your alley, you could become a super villain.

Realizing your own mortality and fragility is a scary thing. The other night I woke up with my mouth full of blood--I ran to the bathroom and looked, almost had a heart attack.

I'd just bitten the inside of my cheek in my sleep, not sure how. But I thought I was dying, coughing and blood coming out.. :/

I'm sorry to hear about your legs. My second cousin has genetic muscular dystrophy in his arms, but he's lived a happy and full life--married and has 3 kids. Don't worry, your family will always be there for you.

Thanks all for the support. Sorry i not been posting much. Right now it seems to be getting better. i can move my legs. But they cant support my weight. I am going to be very busy trying to learn how to change my life. Already talking about getting a van. I told my wife to hold on before making plans i want to fight it. I can tell she is worried to death over me. I think whats sinking in is. I am not helpless. But i keep wanting to get up and walk force myself. Yet everytime i try my wife gets worried. Thanks for all the support and prayers. I am going to fight it because no matter what anyone tells me I do feel helpless and i dont want to put my wife through this.

I hope nothing bad happends to you Nightshade, Just incase you forgot, its me Proud_Prince! Think happy thoughts, Just remember all the good times you've had, and dont think about what could come, and keep hoping that it doesn't happen to you... I dont beleive in miracles or coinsidences... but to not walk... I hope that never happends to you, you seem like such a great person.

Also, be careful when trying to drive! I hope this doesn't happen to you again.

It can seem like it... but maybe you had a seizure? I've had a seizue twice... (Sorry for the double-post by the way, everyone), but each time it felt like I woke up... the only diffrence is that my toung was numb because of the fact I literally bit half of it off... I have two scars on my toung now... Its a pain in the ass when the numbess goes away and then the pain starts to grow into reality again...
