but upload speed is the speed you send information from your comp to the internet, but what about the download speed??

download is usually higher than the upload speed =/ so that means that connection rox

Theres a pretty good speed coming from there as well, 185k/sec is what its clocked at for me (cable without Download Accelerator)

But there is still the problem of when this mod gets mod of the week at planet half-life (damn well better). Its gonna bring in a whole lot of new people to the forum and that site, and those downloads are gonna slow down completly, same thing will most likely happen to your site spin.

OC-3 connections are the fastest internet connections I'm aware, faster than Fiber Optics. Its a business line, big web hosts use them as well as big multi-million dollar companies, after all, they are the only one who could afford such a connection!

Whats your IP at work, I want to test it.

If I had an OC-48, I wouldn't be wasting my time here on ESF Forums, I'd be hosting a warez/porno FTP.
