Angelfire isn't always to reliable, you can't download stuff from they're pages from other sites other than the one its on (Wrecks the direct link idea), chances are the download will be over 50megs (angelfire max was 50, only 20 now), and most of the time if your uploading anything over 10 megs it times out, lol. I don't know to many good sites that would work for the direct links, i was gonna suggest download.com but you gotta go through a few links and all this cr@p.

I downloaded esf to check the speed, it was going at a constant 175k/sec for me but still thats pretty good

i downloaded a lil program called system mechanic and god that thing work.

Before i used that thing , i was downloading at 100/200 and even with a download accelerator it wasnt going higher.

after installer and upgrading my modem with dat lil treasure, i was surprised to see that i was always downloading at 300/400 and even 500 kb/s

try it. search for system mechanics

last time i downloaded dmz in like 16 sec lol
i dont know why, my ftp program is like, u download, it at 100% but it doesnt stop . then i press cancel and it make the files like if they werent even uploaded

Its a bit slower than ESF was going at, its hovering around 210k/sec, i'll test with DAP in a second lol

*Edit- 300k with DAP, thats still pretty good though
