I was at a friends house, playing CS, then he quit CS, I was ike "WTF? I was on a roll!" (mind you my "on a roll" is like 4 kills)
and he switched games, and I saw a dbz background splash screen, then he was all...yea....this dbz game is ...cool...

that's my story

I remember one time, a long time ago, my brother's friend was over and had a disc with a game on it. I took a look at it, realized it was dbz, and soon learned it was ESF. I can't remember the version, but I remember the backround on the main menu was a ssj2 gohan powering up, if someone could tell me what version that was I would greatly apreciate it. I soon lost interest due to there be absolutely no servers. But a little while later I stumbled across ESF again, just as the new alpha version was released(cant' remember that version either, and i dont know why, alpha 1.8 i think, whatever the one was before beta). And ever since then i have been hooked on ESF.

I friend told me about it, he said he got a cool new mod where you were dbz and you could fly around. He gave me a link to a weird mod site, I couldn't find ESF anywhere on it, so I typed in www.esforces.com and got it. Some time later I desided to register in the forum, and later I dug up my old mIRC prog and logged onto #esf :).

In 2001, a friend of mine over christmas break messaged me on AIM saying how he found this awesome dbz mod. So I downloaded it (alpha 2.0). And I thought it was the greatest thing since sliced bread.

I followed the mod for a few months until finally registering on the forums in Feb 2002.

I was actually searching for Jedi Knight II mods when I came upon a site that listed a lot of mods for a lot of games. I saw DMZ and downloaded that. I played it for a bit, then saw ESF on that same site. This happened about 3 weeks before the beta 1.0 release and since everyone said it was so promising, i figured I would wait for it to be released before trying it out. I downloaded it and loved it. Then after playing it for a bit, I had a few questions, so I signed up for the forums and here I am!

First heard of it off of PlanetNamek.com, when it was still online and ESF was referred to as Power Up.
