hi, having problems with lag...

Hey, anyway... yeah, in esf i get crazy ass 30 second "connection warning" spikes every like 2 minuites or so, my ping is fine. most of the time under 50, it's not my connection either, it only happens in ESF, and other hl mods too, like NS etc.

If anyone happens to know what would cause this i'd really appreciate a fix.

Routers cause spikes of lag, but only if you're using a wireless one. I suggest running a wire under your carpet or however you want to do it, and directly connect yourself to the router. You should have no further problems afterwards.

only thing is i don't use a wireless router.

the only other thing I could suggest is find out how to open the right port on your router firewall.
