Help installing with steam

ok i read some of the other posts but still it dont work

it doesnt see hl.exe

i installed it to

C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\[email protected]\esf

and then it comes up with browsing for hl.exe and it doesnt find it

can any 1 help?

run half-life from the games menu
after it downloads and installs half-life run the esfb1.1 install
install to /Steam/SteamApps/[email protected]/half-life/
run esf through the games menu under 3rd party games

Or just create the half-life folder within your email folder. All of your third party mods (not just ESF) will go in that folder by the way.

is it the same way if you use counter strike? put it in halflife folder

cause it says something about cilent.dll and another one foregot what one
