Help!! I can't connect to ANY server. (STEAM)

I downloaded 1.2 full AND the patch...I can play fine and start my own game with bots and everything but I can't connect to other people's servers. It keeps retrying the connection but to no avail.

Is there a file I need or something?

Also another thing, I can't connect to any Half-Life servers either. Counter-Strike works fine. Do I need to update Half-Life itself to play ESF maybe?

half-life should update automaticly. but u need half-life installed to play esf i think

Whenever I open "Earth's Special Forces"
Will jump out the warning Windows:
Fatal Error

My game target enactment BE :

Turk - let us know if updating halflife fixes your problem

hmmm it seems uninstalling the non-steam version of CS and half-life retail did the trick
