Help, cant Upload Custom Avatar or enter URL for it

ok, I got the sweet sig, (thx to magus) but now I need a Avatar to go with it,

I can't seem to upload it to my profile, can anyone do this for me? I also have it on my computer. When I try to Upload directly from it, I get an error message like "tmp/user not found or something"

It's 24 KB. The maximum size for avatars is 10 KB.

Well I tried linking a Smaller sig a, under 10 kb and it still wouldnt work. I still cant upload from my computer either.

Try converting it from a jpg to a .gif, it'll help out.

try to lower the colors ...
such an avatar shouldn't have more than 10 kB

add: gif only supprots 256 colors .. that's the reason it would be smaller

dang.. now I cant even get me old Avatar back! They were already .gif files, under 10 and under 100x100 pixels, I think the forum is broken :/

I too am having problems with my avatars. The avatars which are hosted by the forums (all the dbz ones) dont seem to show, and when i try to add my sig, it says that its done but it just doesn't show the avatar after
(when i click upload avatar, it goes onto a screen saying something like "thanks jonesdaniel, we are now sending you back" there is a load of weird coding stuff up the top which is not usually there.
