HEELP! I'M A TOAL NOOB!!

Hi, I've got small problem runnin ESF. I'm a total noob of any Half life

MODs...(of course I installed all programs and everything...) and I waz

tryin to connect to the server. But it says "Your half life CD KEY is invalid

so I put my cd key in. and it doesn't work! I tried it multiple times. But

it NEVER works. And my friend gave me another CD KEY, and now it says

my CD KEY doesn't match with VALVe system...


PLZ!! HELP ME...

am I supposed to find another CD KEY? oh, and... you can't play single

player in ESF... are all MODs like that?

you cant use the same CD key as someone else. only one key can be used at a time. buy half life and get your own key...its only like $20.

If it's giving you that message, you either didn't buy it, or someone is using your CD-Key. Key generators will not work for Half-life, CS, or any mod related to them. Just buy your own copy of it and use that CD-key, and never lend it to anyone.

$20 ? I've seen it in stores for 7 euros... if they charge $20 for Half-Life at the moment, just get it somewhere else.

About the Single Player thing: ESF doesn't have (and will probably never have) a Single Player mode. There are mods out there that do have one, though.

wtf are euros, you cant compare 2 different types of money currencies. $20 is cheap considering you get all the other HL mods in the package...

Euros are the currency in europe (duh). It's currently a little bit stronger than than the US dollar i beleive. but anyway im sure majin prince was just giving an estimate, you can probably find it for less than $20.

I got Half-Life Generations (Half-Life, Counter Strike and Opposing Force) for about € 15. And that was about a year ago. €1 is just slightly more than $1. I'm sure you can find it for around $10 now.

i was at my local Comp USA today.. the half-life super pack thing (Half-Life, Blue shift, opposing force, team fortress, and CS) was like... $15
