After seeing a few people asking for it, I have decided to make a simple guide about it.

Initially DBO was only available for Korea, and to play it, you needed a legit KSSN (Korean Social Security Number), thus restricting most outsiders from playing. Today however, Taiwanese DBO open beta started, which does not require the above form of identification.

The game is Free-to-Play, and so far from what I have played, it is lot of fun. So to try the game, below are the instructions.

Note: We are using the Taiwanese Version. Also, use Internet Explorer or Google Chrome to register an account at step 1. Firefox may give you difficulties.

1. Register on this website ----> http://www.dbocom.com/.
2. Create a Wasabi Account, this will be required to log into the game. Note that you no longer require email verification, so just skip that step ----> Wasabi Account Creation Tutorial.
3. Download the Client using either of the following methods ----> Official Torrent, Direct Download or Others.
4. The installation should be pretty straight forward. After it is done, launch the client and then click on the top of the two tabs on the right to update.
5. Download the English Patch files which will make it a lot easier to navigate the menu ----> English Patch.
6. Join the Server No. 2, where most of the English Players are ----> Server Selection Instructions.
7. And thats it, start the game and follow the prompts. Its pretty straight forward.

The Translation does not translate the skills info, so to decide what they are, look here ----> Skills List. Each race, Human, Namekian and Majin, can choose between two initial race specific classes, which are shown on the left column. Later on you can further specify which of the two secondary classes you want to focus into when you become an adult, as shown on the 2nd and the 3rd Column. Here is a more in-depth look at classes.

I really recommend reading this general guide explaining the game mechanics, the HUD, quests and other basic info ----> General Guide.

There are also player guides which deal with Pets, Mounts, Adult Quests and Dragonball Collection here ----> Player Guides.
Use them if you get stuck or want to know about particulars in the game.

Also, the very first quest you get after completing the tutorial, is to scan the NPC who gave you that quest.

And thats it folks, have fun with the game. I know I will. ;)

Currently playing(Nicks): ZPower, Deathshot, rmViper(The Dude), DarthRevan & madman121, tenzo90(Tenzo), hleV, Measuring(Shonnie), Nemix, beneto, elcor, Soulripper(Painkiller), RedSaiyan(phrack50), Lionheart92(BlackLion)

Guild ----> ESForces

Yes, Chrome works.
Also: played a little last night and got to a quest where you go back in time to see Goku land on Earth. Which was pretty awesome!(the quest also gives you the 'Power-up ability')

And who says wow isn't a clone of another game? Seriously, there are so many mmorpg games that looks like wow and exist even before wow was even created, wow isn't really original you know.

Personally I see WoW as a clone of Everquest with less freedom...

You, Me, Z, and everyone else in ESF that is playing are gonna make a guild. But its 200,000 Zeni to make one.... So we can either get someone to use a dragon wish to get 400,000 zeni or we can do it the way of working for it.

We need a name.

No point in playing a Dbz game and not dressing like Goku. ^^
