If you want an anime with some awesome action, I recommend Scryed or Hellsing. Both of which are fairly new and kick a lot of ass.

If you want comedy, then I would suggest Great Teacher Onizuka or Love Hina. Both are pretty hilarious, especially GTO.

And if you want one of the best animes ever, FLCL. Definitely one of my favorites. It's so bizarre you have to love it.

As for people liking Freaky (FLCL) you should check out "Weird Anime:Excel Saga," it's much better...

yes excel saga is one of the funniest animes out there. i especially love how the make fun of dbz in it.


flcl doesnt compare to serial experiments lain in wierdness.

Evangelion - Like i said before. Best series i've ever seen. Shinji Ikari (the guy in the far right of my sig) Has a dad that is rather the jerk. The dad's name is Gendo Ikari. Evangelions (Big Mecha like things) are piloted by people born after the impact that destroyed alot of stuff. You have things called "Angels" that try to attack Tokyo 3 and basically Shinji, Rei (in the middle of my sig) and Asuka (the far left) try to defend it. This is the beginning eps till the 8-12 ep or something around there. I'd say more, but that woudl be going to far in depth.

Metropolis - Been a while since i seen this but i did like it. Lemme see.. The world is half Robot half human. Humans control most the world. Some scientist makes a robot that can pass off as a human. World domination or something to that effect. Human's vs. Robots happens if i remember right.

.hack//sign - Not to bad of an anime. Tsukasa (our main character) is trapped inside a game called "The World" Basically you go through the series and watch the group become friends. SOme backstabbing. Then you see Tsukasa get out of the game...

Rourouni Kenshin - About 96 episodes of repitition in my opinion. The ending changed it up a little bit. The OVA's i havent seen. Basically its Kenshin beating up people that try to kill other people.

I'd say more but i cant come up with any other anime's that i havent seen recently.

Oh wait,

Akira!! - This is one sweet! movie. Made in 1986 or '76 i cant remember. This is one Anime that even visually still compares to the anime's of today. Storyline is really good too. Lets see. Biker Gangs. Uhm, Tetsuo goes insane, gets some power things. beats people up. Wierd story, to tired to go into detail on it now. Mabye tomarrow.

.hack... bah. Tooooo much talking. I mean, I can tolerate a lot of dialogue... but only to a point. You see generally massive amounts of dialogue are balanced out by a giant robot blowing things up or something. But instead their compensation is us watching some goofy little disney monster or something get bonked on the head by a sword. And even while they're doing that... they're STILL talking. Endlessly. About pretty much the same damn thing over and over.

WAY too much dialogue and the computer/game tech-talk is just sad "Oh no! The sys admin cant access the mainframe due to the processing unit being down..." of course thats stretching it but thats pretty close.

1st Anime i watched...
English DBZ - ON WB11 when it first AIRED.
Then started to watch JAP Version that i got from a friend on Tapes. Liked it better. (Don't you like Phillipino/Jap/Chinese friends that get it for free!?)
Well... i would count Transformers but that was when i was 6 or 7 O_O and i saw DBZ when i was like 10.

Much Much More.... that i forgot about from like 5 years ago and stuff.
BTW Im ASIAN.
