I can suggest (Maybe even attempt to design) a newbie friendly HUD which has things spelt out rather than abbreviated

All HUD's are WIP so working with the visibility shouldn't be an issue

As for the what does shit mean. RTFM comes to mind. Though designiong a HUD that has everything spelled out for people shouldnt be to hard. Just dont expect it to be to pretty.

However it's not the colors for HUD that we choose but HUDs themselves. This HUD is quite decent, but the olive color ****s it up so much that I'm forced to choose a perhaps worse HUD with better colors. It's not like it's a problem to ME, as I can edit the HUD colors to my liking (or I like to believe I can), but just sayin' that more universally liked colors should be chosen for HUDs.

Well thats where HUD packs can come in. Anyone who has the ability can create their own HUD, or edit an existing HUD and release that for the people to use.

I actually liked the HUD but not the olive green as others have mentioned before me. I would like to suggest an alternative/combination to the name change of HUD parts. Wouldn't it be good to have maybe a "help" tab/window when you log in-game, e.g. implemented like a character screen. This would allow you to make the abbreviations understandable but also to include a description of the whole UI i.e. how does the scouter work and whatnot.

And this screen could be available while playing as well when pressing the "H" key. For those of you that have played Diablo 2, I'm thinking of the ingame help overlay, unfortunately I couldn't find a picture for this.

You have 16,563 posts, the vast majority of them come from helping people who haven't read the manual. No one reads the manual, and it's bad game design assuming people will do so.
