ok so I'm kinda, sort of newer to 1.2.3. I just learned about this mod in late december of 2011 and played alot in 2012. The manual taught me a lot and the members of the community furthermore, but one thing that I think newer people going in to Final will most definitely not know are console commands. Most notably these ones....

fps_override
fps_max

I actually played for many months with the default camera angle and didn't know any better until [1] told me about the idealdist command. If you guys are going to make a tutorial I highly recommend that, at the very least, these be included.

AAhhHHh I remember now, from the leaked april fools video, Raven repositions the camera without using commands, my bad.

Oh that's why in 1.2.3 we couldn't make the character fixed at the e.g right side of the screen, it always rotated... Cool to hear that.

Here's a fun fact for you. If it doesn't come out soon: it will die, because you said so and you speak only the truth.
If it comes out without being finished: it will die because everyone else says so and because it happened before.

Why don't you just declare this a lost cause and move on somewhere else? There are plenty of amazing mods that did see a release and that do see regular updates. Just check The Nexus for example which features quite a good selection of games and their mods that can range from small tweaks to total conversions to huge new fully voice-acted lands for you to explore and fill your time with.

Maybe a list should be made of all the people who say ESF: Final is fake and when it's out they get a special group that ridicules them. Or a permanent ban from the forums. If ESF: Final is really fake, then they should have nothing to worry about.
