If you're going to post, make sure it wasn't a siting when you were... inebriated.

I've only had one :x

When I was little, I had to goto the bathroom around midnight. Usually I was terrified back then, but I decided to be tough and not let it scare me. I would try to walk calmy to the bathroom without running. I walk out my door, and to the left of me is a hall waey, and i need to only go about 4 steps and turn right to jthe bathroom. I proceed out of my room, and I'm scared ****less of my hallway at night (was :p). So, trying to be the tough kid I was, I look down the hallway, and I swear, I saw some kind of like, floating skull head thing just going straight towards me. Almost pissing my pants, I run into the bathroom, take my piss, and sit there for 3 hours, scared ****less. Finally, I gain the balls to sprint, practically teleport (i ran so fast) into my room.

Yeah, hauntings ftl /o\

I slept with a ghost once. She was afraid that, being a ghost, she couldn't reach her climax. I proved her wrong.

Way to be inappropriate AND off topic at the same time Logan. Please knock it off.

I guess I'll lay out my ghost sighting. When I was about 10 years old my mom and I lived in a creepy little condominum a couple of miles from where I live now, which was run by relatively creepy people with relatively creepy neighbors. I mean, it was already scary as it was, it was just kinda set up for ghosts and zombies and creepy crap already. I would always play around the complex (which was relatively small and very ghetto), walking between buildings and going to the lot of rubble two buildings south of ours, just down the driveway. That lot of rubble just so happened to be the remains of a building like the one I was living in (a two apartment little duplex thing) after most of the debris was removed after an explosion from some ten years back. I didn't know anything about it at the time, but it was a cool place to play and kick crap around when I was alone. Not long after living in that the condo, my mother and I started noticing some unexplainably eerie things going on, like walking into the bathroom to see the hair dryer was just sitting on and blowing with nobody in the room, or occasionally hearing my tape recorder start playing at the bottom of my toy chest in the middle of the night when we were asleep (which would wake up my mom, not me, as I was an INCREDIBLY deep sleeper. I mean, I slept through firecrackers in the back of a pickup truck followed by two fire trucks coming into the complex and hosing it out right next to our building). One night I had my grandma's dog over to stay and it was at the end of my bed on the floor sniffing around, and I noticed a huge shapely shadow on my wall. I noticed it because it had a distinct shape, wavy lines, I remember it being kinda like a wierd less asymetrical blocky pyramid shape, like a human with freaky wavy hair. It was dead still on my wall, so I assumed it was coming from something in my window, blocking the moonlight coming in. I looked around casually and noticed first that my dog was well away from the window so it was not causing the shadow. Next I saw my lamp, which was not shaped like a wavy pyramid, then I noticed the freakiest thing of all, that the tree was moving outside my window, which was making the light come in choppy and move around, but the shadow was absolutely static. Once confirming that there was absolutely nothing in my room that could be creating this shadow, I immediately started to freak out. I just stared at it for a little while, then I climbed out of my bed, went to the door, and looked back. It was still there. The dog followed me out of the door and to my mom's room, where I woke her up and brought her back. Amazingly enough, after all that, the shadow disappeared. I drew what I'd seen for mom on the table the next morning and gave her the picture, and then, according to her recollection, I told her it had spoken to me. I can't say I remember that happening, but she would remember better than I would at my age. The rest of this information she did not share with me until years later...

Mom, paranoid and a little panicked about a ghost talking to me in my room, decided to go to the local library and check out the archives for information about our complex. She found a news article from some years back about that explosion, and found out that there had been only one death out of all of the injured people, that being the mother of a baby boy, who had died at the hospital immediately after being admitted. She had apparently left her child in her own condo (the one that backed up to this one) and gone to a party next door where someone had left the gas on in the oven. The explosion leveled a large part of the complex and it had to be demolished, and it would not be surprising if she died without knowing whether or not her child was safe. The child was removed by the state and delivered, I believe, into foster care (I believe she was the only guardian). Mom found a picture of the woman and low and behold, the same wavy curls I'd laid out on the page. She went home that night and went into my room, told the woman her son was alright, and to leave me alone. I never saw her again after that, but we didn't live there much longer, and mom put a cross on my door as a protective measure.

What I saw was real, I remember it well enough to know I analyzed what was going on at the time to make sure nothing in my room was possibly making the shadow, and I checked again before I got mom. It genuinly made me eerie although it didn't necessarily 'frighten' me, and I never saw it again. I've seen little things since then, figures I can make out in the dark sometimes, creepy things I can't explain away with common sense, but never anything that close to me. If it really WAS just a random show, what an awkward coincidence that I'd draw a picture of a woman with wavy hair, that just so happened to look similar to the woman that died in an explosion two buildings over. Maybe she was looking for her son and found me? Who knows. All I know is it was freakolicious.

This happened in my old house, i lived there till i was 13. Outside of my bedroom was the lounge room and when i slept with the door open at night i could see the couch. Many many times i saw like a freakishly tall and skinny man sitting on the couch real straight with an equally tall and skinny woman with long hair. Anyway, like a few years ago when i told my cousin how i used to always see them he told me that once when he slept over he saw them too but figured it was my parents so thought nothing of it.
True story.

I've said it before and I'll say it again...I've never had any ghost sightings, but I wish I had, so I would at least know something's there or not. Fright for knowledge sounds like a good deal to me.

So yeah, I'd like to read some more sightings.

I partially agree with that, I'd be scared like hell if I ever saw a ghost. I'm really a chicken when it comes to supernatural stuff >.<

I know the scariest **** ever is being in bed when it's utterly silent; and then the next door dog starts barking and all you can think is "I wonder what it's barking at".

Now that I get all nastalgic, I remember after watching the movie "The Frighteners" some 7 or so years ago; I recall seeing the grimreaper shape in almost every shadow I saw, which creeped me out.

I had a ghost siting about 3 years ago. It was late, everyone else was in bed and I had just cut off my comp. When I spun my chair around, there was this figure of an elderly man standing by the window. I freaked out. I, like Sonic heard it speek to me, it said "Don't be scared, I'm just passing by." It then vanished and all I could do was shivver.

Sounds like it was pretty freaky Sonic. I like supernatural things. ^_^

I've never directly had a ghost encounter myself. Although I have had a few freaky things happen. The weirdest thing to happen to me was a good few years ago now. My parents and sister were at some horse show thing I think (my sister rides horses) and it was one where they stayed the night (this was on a weekend). It was just me and my two older brothers staying at the house but my oldest brother (John) had gone out with his mates for a while. My other brother (Huw) was in his room and I was in the living room watching tv. I heard the distinct sound of the front door opening and closing so I thought John must have come home so I went out to the kitchen to say hello. No one was there and the door was locked. After discovering this I told Huw and he investigated the kitchen and decided that John must have come home and then left again (you know, forgot something and came back to get it). Happy with this deduction I went back to watching tv and Huw went back to his room. About half an hour later I heard exactly the same noise. Again I went out but found nothing and the door was locked. Told Huw again and he decided that John had again come home and left. Ok, went back to watching tv. Half an hour later there was a knocking on the front door. Went out and opened the door. It was John. He had forgotten his key.

Just so you know, our front door is the kind that doesn't lock unless you lock it with a key, so it can be opened from both sides. Meaning he hadn't come home at all. That kind of freaked me out.

Besides that it's mainly just brief noises like hearing the breadbin open or close. One time I heard the top of the bin fall onto the floor yet when I had a look it was fine (the top wouldn't fall off unless it was lifted off too). These noises happen at night so it's quite and no one else is awake to make any noise.

When I was small, my parents had this huge mirror on the bottom of the stairs, you'd see yourself everytime you walked down the stairs..

One time I ran downstairs (don't know what my business were downstairs, but didn't have a computer back then, so that might be the cause of me socialising) and halfway the stairs I saw this white shade that looked like a monk in the mirror on the top of the stairs.. I freaked out and fell down the stairs and broke my wrist.. My mom just told me it was an aftereffect of the sudden change from darkness to light (dark upstairs and light downstairs.. But at time, every now and then, when I walked downstairs, I'd saw that shade up there.. I kinda developed a phobia for being alone upstairs, untill my parents took away the mirror.. I've never seen that shade again and the phobia slowly disappeared.. But ****, it was freaky back then :p

Hah, some creepy stuff so far. Still waiting for Cuc's tale though... sounds like it has to be good.

Devion, if you want to debate the existence of paranormal stuff, you can make a thread for it.

I had some scary stuff aswell. But the most stuff i forgott where im happy about.
The scariest thing was when i had my 1. printer.

It wasnt attached to the Powerplug or to the PC it was just the Printer without any cables. Then in the middle of the night it turned on and printed an empty page with nothing on.

That got me scared as hell. i turned the ligths on an freaked out when i seen that there was no possible way how this could happen. I still dont got an answer how that happend.
And i dont think that there was that much restpower in the printer that it could move the Inkholders that long.

Yeah, I'm a tad squeamish when it comes to the supernatural, also.
