Game settings are automatically erased and some windowns of settings appear in blank

I think you didnt understand the problem... I already tried using defaults, it fix the problem for a while but when I close and re-open the game all settings are erased. It simply dont save the settings even in default!

Try this. Open the file called config.cfg and edit the controlls there. That should get them into the game.

You can use the 1.2 config.cfg file for refference.

make sure the config.cfg is not set to read-only for some reason then start the game, goto options > keyboard and click use defaults. Start a game and check the controls if there ok quit out of the game then restart, check if the settings were saved.

It doesnt work...
It deletes everything on the config.cfg!

EDIT:I figurated out that my HL and all my HL mods are having the same problems too...
