Game freezes after 5 minutes

Im runniing this in 1024x768 in OpenGl
After about 5 minutes, the game will freeze. Why does this occur, and how do I fiix it?

Also, how do I turn off that dreadful music?

Update- The game crashes as soon as TEN seconds into the game. Eeep.
