I do believe the problem was fixed, I uploaded an avatar and it worked fine.
To successfully do so, you require:
*A minimum of 50 posts-count.
*A maximum dimension of 100x100 for your avatar.
*A maximum file size of 10KB (10x1024 Bytes) for your avatar.
*Make sure you have the "Delete Image" checked when changing your avatar and click on the correct 'SUBMIT' button (there are 2, one for avatar, one for profile) while on the Avatar Change page within UserCP.
