Free Online War Games?

Anyone knows if Free War games exist to play online? Take battlefield heroes for example. Asking this for a friend of mine.

Do you think I haven't already done that? >_>. I'm not Mr, stupid . So far, all those result to Flash Games. But I want real PC games.

I liked Warrock back in the days. Fast paced FPS. Don't know how it is nowadays though.

A.V.A - Alliance of Valiant Arms is what I'd recommend and Warrock too.

Dunno how alive the community is still. I used to play it long long ago. It was one of the best Free War Games.

I loved S4, but wouldn't consider it a war game. In that case, you might as well go for Gunz as well.
