Forums - New Server location

The forums at the moment are only on a 1.5mbps connection and hosted off an old Dual P3 800Mhz box, but they are moving to our new datacenter around Feb 1

The webmaster resides in Australia (Greg), and that's where all the web and server stuff is located.

Well, anyways, good to hear it's being moved, let's hope nothing super horribly bad doesn't happen in the move, like underpants gnomes.

Its a little slower for me, i was wondering why it kept stoping and i had to refresh a couple of times..

He's moving alot of stuff over, atm, and may not have all the time to fix sites like ESF's MySQL database.

It looks like everything was moved to the new server. It's much slower for me, but thats to be expected if Greg is still tweaking with things. Good luck Greg, your work is appreciated.

Is the forum still not working for some people? Recently i've only seen about 3-4 people online at a time, usually it was many times that before the server change.

Sorry for the double posts but my EDIT's didn't show up, it just said I edited it, it doesn't show the edit.

EDIT: Argh, it's much slower for me now

EDIT2: And the posts/replies seem to be broken, and I can't see when somebodies replied to a post. And when I post I get redirected to a strange white error page even though the post went through. New server for the lose :S
