I don't get y everyone hates Fileplanet. If it weren't for them 99% of HL mods out there would die. Fileplanet is a big help. I mean anyone who gives that kinda of support to a whole community for HL deserves some freaken respect. I don't LOVE fileplanet, but is it their fault they are popular? That y the wait is long. So honestly, Fileplanet is good. Go yell at someone else being in front of u in line instead of fileplanet.

sometimes there is no line
you can start downloading immediatly

btw i don´t care if i have to wait...i just wait 2 hours and than i can dl with 60-80kbyte/s, that´s much faster than dl 10 hours with a speed of 2kbyte/s

but was that with 56k? i downloaded it from the oktagone server and it took seven hours.... i just started it, went to sleep, and hoped to god that it would not time out. and it didn't, lucky me.

I use file planet only when there's no other working option avaliable, paying for downloads that are suppose to be free is just wrong.

I dont mind fileplanet. Although, I actually havent needed to download anything like patches for a month, but it is handy.
