80% of the world sais that they look like this so the teory of feathers is just a mith, they where already almost extingt when the meteor reached the world.
Even if you didn't pull that number out of thin air (which you clearly did). You should have said, 80% of the world thinks they look like this. Nobody knows exactly what they looked like, we can only be skeptical based on their bone structure. But since no one has ever actually seen one, unless 80% of the world was alive milions of years ago. Raptors very well could have had feathers. They even found fossils which they believe proves it.

But I guess since 80% of the world says they look like those plastic toys, they have to be right. KARATE CHOP ACTION RAPTORS!!!!!

feathers i tell you

in jurassic park 3 they added some velociraptors with feathers on their heads because a few years before they made the movie, a new fossil was found that showed feather marks, thats when they started changing the theory of some dinosours having feathers..

there even is a dinousaur that has feathers covering the arm (kinda like a wing) but forgot the name

deinonychus were smaller than velociraptors, velociraptors were bout 2meters long, had feathers covering their head and worked in groups to hunt, thats why they were succesful hunters, not because they were smart

don't believe anything jurassic park states :p
You got it backwards dude. Deinonychus was the human-sized "raptor", the ones in the movies are oversized exaggerations of real velociraptors, which were only about 3-4 feet tall.

At least that's what I remember.

Yeah. Dromaeosaurs (sp?) are badass but my all time fave was T-****ing-Rex, the original and the mother****ing master.

Actually, as far as what I think is the "best" dinosaur...I've got to go with Megaraptor.

(yeah that's right...a 10 foot tall raptor!)

Deinonychus. I remember trying to convince my friends that the raptors in Jurassic Park were closer to the deinonychus, and velociraptors were much smaller...but they of course didn't believe me.

i clearly see that i cant seem to convince anyone that FEATHERS ON RAPTORS ARE NOT VELOCIRAPTORS, it could be that they where confused on a nother dinosaures.
i just leave this discusion alown, i know that i'm right so say what you want but there is no way that anyone can say that a velociraptor has feathers. <_<

Dude, there is no way that you can say they can't for sure. Unless you travelled BACK IN TIME, and saw a Velociraptor. No one can prove or disprove it. I don't understand why you have to be so stubborn. That's the thing about studying something MILLIONS OF YEARS OLD... It's open to interpretation. No one can be 100% correct about something based on it's bones. It's impossible.

there has always been a feather -and bird theory.. they found multiple fossils of some dinosaurs that show feathers, others show hair..

how do you think they constructed the first bipedal dinosaur? -> they looked at the skeleton of an ostrich..

and indeed, nobody can be sure about this.. nobody knows if they actually had feathers or not, unless somebody travelled back to time and took pictures from those dinosaurs..
