Yes, buy HL1 through Steam, then you will have no problems installing ESFand ECX

ok umm i no i might have already asked this but can u like explain to me how to instal esf proplery and wqhere must install it and also ghow to install rc2 and big pack and also where in as much detail as posible ty

i have a progeram called cs1.6v35 install program and that contains cs1.6 and hl1 so now do i install them underneath steam? and if so then do i also instal esf under half life or steam?

You need to BUY Half Life and activate it on your Steam account in order to play ESF/ECX and other mods. That's all to it!

but umm my friend he didnt by half life and he can play esf wid big pack and ecx
