Explosions 1.1 vs 1.2

well i like the alpha one but i also like the new 1.2 explosions all i want to see is the new ones tweaked all the explosions seem the same size and the final flash and big bang wow how pancy do they look! the need to be bigger! with more bang! lol

I really don't understand why everyone seems to love the alpha explosions, they're nothing but spheres with some beams sticking out. Imo the 1.2 explosions look way better then any explosion that has ever been in ESF.

I'm with Sonic when he says an explosion is an explosion, but nevertheless...

I really don't like 1.2 explosions all that much, because they obstruct view, and as said by others, you can't tell how far the damage reach was... Although it's never really mattered to me.. I mean, you shoot, you hit or miss, you go in for more. As long as they die (and they always do), it doesn't matter to me, which is why I probably like 1.1 explosions better (1.2 is a pain on the fps).

My vote is for 1.1, I guess...

Yes i agree when you say it's hard to get the reach of the explosion in 1.2... :no: Though, considering that i rarely give a lot of use to beams... big ones at least ... it doesn't make a big difference for me however i do find them visually better than in 1.2 :yes:

I really dunno, because I prefer the look of the newer one, but the old one was more useful to show the area of effect. Also It became much bigger than the newer one, which made me, personally feel very happy (when I caused the blow, off course ).

1.1 explosions aren't the beauty but they are bigger, ALOT bigger and you can actually see who is hurt. And they hurt my sucky machine most ppl call a computer. I call it a piece of junk.

i like the way they spred out in 1.2.. but the spirtbomb sux's a bit... not a big anuff explosion on it if u charge it to full u should get a wave blaste effect spreding it and the explodeing even bigger than it dose... to give it a better effect

1.1, 1.2 explosions look ok but not anything like DBZ, 1.1 were better and alpha were best.
