Please see DBZ Episode 176
Then think about their beam struggel

And take a look at this pic's


Insted of the orginal esf ps system.. then make it like the episodes... the ball thing... the bigger they pl is the bigger the ball get.. and the more ki they have that change what way beam go... you have to see 176 before you might understand what i talk about....

Normal esf



First: DONT think about the struggel bar!!
My idear for beam struggel
First they are equal

Then thay press the mouse button, and the ball get bigger = bigger boom :laff:

Then 1 of then run out of ki and the other take over beam struggel...

And beam hit him and he die...

Not like esf that none of them die ?

See DBZ Episode 176 would might make you understand what i mean..
could be pretty cool with that..
and i never saw in any episodes that beam struggel goes like it does in esf....

Could be cool if they could add it in esf1.3
I hop you understanded what i meant..

Yes, you stated it loud and clear :] Yes, it should be like this. But I don't know if it's possible, because if it is, they would put it earlier; that's what I think. But maybe I'm wrong.

the idea itself is good, but I wonder if such a thing would cause increase in lag and such for people... also for those who dont know every episode by its number :)
episode 176- cell games, ssj2 gohan powerstruggling cell...

its always nice tp provide a visual.

And its a good idea.

But i like helping in on a beam struggle, like when my ally is losing and i blast it with a beam back towards the other person, but i guess you could still do it like this to a degree

Sorry cant find the old ESF 1.3 PS Outline

They will change the PS system they will seperate the beam heads to 6 sectors

and depending in wish sector the other beam hits the PS will react

If its a headon PS it will just go forward and back and so on

What he said...The current twirly ps thing is being revamped, you should check the beta 1.3 outline and the document containing the power struggle improvements.

Yeah, what they said ^, also the beamheads parralelling and going off on their own is a bug thats been around for ages, and bugs get fixed :)

careful, although the outline was posted to the public, some mods thought it was specific for force pit material, and i got warned coz i posted it :S even though it was public material before

PSing from the side will still not look good no matter how they make it... Power struggles aren't made to happen sideways, you're supposed to always face eachother. Unless,*Light bulb turned on in his head* whenever the two beams connect you automatic turn to face the other player and the beam magically shifts, sort of like how advance melee makes you turn around....But still when the beams connect in a wierd angle it'll still look wierd (going back & forth and whatnot sideways). I think the beams just shouldn't powerstruggle if its behind you or at a wierd angle.

There was one, I can't remember when but I think it was a movie, Piccolo shot a beam from the side with one of his own so that it wouldn't hit Gohan and it changed direction. That's sort of how beams are going to work now. If they're hit head on, they struggle, if they're hit from behind, they push each other along, if they're hit from the side, they parallel off next to each other. It should look good, like this:

Ah, that was Bojack Undbound when Piccolo shot his special beam cannon to save gohan.


It's nice to see something to refresh my mind of the 1.3 ps outline, dunno why it's force pit material...But I can see more "BEAMS ONLY! NO DISC OR LASER OR MEELE OR ELSE KICKED" severs. atleast it wil be easier to do the Final Kamehahemha

balls of ki were created coz they were so close, and so powerfull. see first goku vs vegeta fight at the begining of dbz, (KHH vs GG) there you can see a nice powerstruggle. and there are no balls... well they are but are not getting bigger as the power rises.
