ESF **** up all steam games!!!

First of all, every time i join the game says "you cannot play with coloured models on this server". I cannot move, and the game just exits after a couple of seconds. Or... the game simply kicks me back to the desktop without any warning after "precaching resources", or after the first few frames ingame.
This is also happening in cs, hl, hlf, and natural selection...
I tried reinstalling, it works a couple of times, and then **** up everything again... also tried removing the platform.gcf, helps until i run the game, hmmm... let's say, the fourth time, dunno really.

Also, the advanced multiplayer options (3d rocks, 24 bit color) always keep reverting to unselected, even though my computer supports all this (ati r9800xt)

That's what you get for supporting steam. Steam is the devil, and it is recruiting followers through esf. WON for life!!!
