ESF - Server Forum!

I think it would be a good idea to add another forum for people who run ESF dedicated servers to seak help! also on that note it would be nice if the ESF team would be more dedicated and maybe offer a client and server release so bugs can get ironed out a lot quicker i am sick of restarting my server because some idiot crashes it with a bug in the game

For your first suggestion, if somebody needs help with a dedicated server, they can just ask in the Help section that is already available. And I am sure they are ironing out bugs constantly for new releases, so just wait for those to get bugs fixed.

most people who ask in the help section only ask basic questions and most of them dont intend on hosting a dedicated perm server.

The things i want to see are more server side commands, like banning player moves, banning certain classes, set the number of certain classes on a map (for example 10 vegitas on a 16 player server is wrong) .

can u set decale trequency in esf? ban i.ps? set host kill time (time to kill server) , lock cam view in spectator mode.

commands to slow the speed of swoop, powerup, turbo etc would be nice too! Another would be to turn of them coloured objects above players heads, it makes hiding impossible!

You can make a sticky for those base servercommands in the help forum, and maybe you can add a banned user sticky for pll that run deincated server with the wonid of the lamers that let servers crash....

This is getting annoyed, its hard to get the won id of people who make the server crash when ur dedicated server. all u see is people join n leave and chat
