esf quits back to windows

i load up cs then choose the esf mod start a new lan game but just before it loads up it quits strait back to windows. this becomes extremely frustrating because ive tried everything i know to solve the problem.

I got the same problem
But I come from tfc
when its almost load up
Close and goes go up to window like if I never opened HL
I cant play anymore

well first you should have your own icon for esf... second try changing the graphics to opengl... therd when you run from cs and play esf in the cs icon at the end of the target is there anything there like -console or -bots -close -wondow open... anything like that

k ill try dat but i changed my os to win 98 and now it wont find client.dll
