ESF mod works with Steam upgrade?

I want to know if esf mod can be used with the Half-life upgrade Steam?

i had the same prob with that. in steam apps make sure u have ur email adress folder and in there a half-life folder. tehn go and install. it'll ask u where to put it. click browse and put it in the half life folder then it'll say at the end something like Half-Life\counter-strike\ take the counter strike thing off. after install u should find in ur half life folder a esf folder. if thats there then it worked. if its not there u or i did something wrong. then u should find it on steam in 3rd party games.
