ESF Loading problem

Don't know why but when I go to a map and select it. Then when I click OK. And the game starts. When the console says preaching resources. Then after it says done preaching resources. The screen turns black as if the map is going to load and the game is going to start but esf closes instead and i return to windows. Has it got something to do with the half life version. Because i have version 1104 not 1110. Should I download 1110.

Is version 1110 of half life really needed.

I've tested it on 1.1.1.0 and it works, but dunno about any other versions. Obviously it it odesn't work your only hope is to download the patch, unless you want to get steam instead (hl v1.1.1.1).

Ultrapowerlevel when o dled the 1.1.1.0 pathc it started working? or u needed use steam -_-
