esf 1.2 steam help please!

i downloaded my esf 1.2 before the steam thing.
how do i get esf in steam i have the steam as an icon at the bottom now.
what is better about esf 1.2 steam than 1.2.
why do power struggles cause beams to go up in the air.

reinstall the mod and during the instalation choose steam lol the tecstures the sounds less bugs and some other minorities
