Well, grOOvy does know how to really get under your skin with the knock-back feature >_> (Apologies to grOOvy, )

Other than that, yes, I'd say that newer players should be able to pick this one up without too much fear of not having any learning space. From what I've seen over the more recent test sessions, people have picked this up pretty well in-team. I hope to see the same out in the public.

so when u swoop at someone:

left mousebutton = adv. melee
right mousebutton = simple melee

simple melee vs. simple melee = knockback
adv. melee vs. adv. melee = meleestruggle
adv. melee vs. simple melee = combo for adv. melee

correct me if iam wrong

Simple melee gets off the first hit, then advanced melee nails you with 12 prepunches.

i dont see any real positive uses of simple melee except getting the first hit..

Simple melee has a LOT of uses, trust me. It can be the difference between powering up and not having any Ki. It's great when you can clear your opponent away for a few seconds.

Simple melee seems like it will have disadvantages...

i dont see any real positive uses of simple melee except getting the first hit..

imagine. u have like 15 hp, and ur opponent has 5 hp. to end this fast and clear u just have to simple melee him and he is killed.

for trunks simple melee will be used more because he can killed ppl instantly when they are under 20% of their normal pl.

hmm i think i will use more trunks in 1.2... just to advance from simple melee to adv. melee

Last i heard (perphaps this was a tired induced dream)...trunk's sword can be pulled out with a button press at anytime during advanced melee...is this still true?

yep i think it is im sure u can switch 2 ur sword when u want

You can't pull the sword out on command. You can however, control when you want the sword to be used. Combos, heavy punches.
