Woooooooooot. I knew I made the right decision in holding off Skyrim for a while. A month or two more, and I will be rolling in awesomeness.

Was just about to start up Skyrim again, guess I am gonna wait for the update instead now.

Yeah, I've managed to not play Skyrim yet, pretty card considering all the medieval books and movies I've read lately. Made me hanker for some good medieval action, but it'll pay off, the longer I wait, the better Skyrim gets.

Also, just soooo much to play still.

Comparing to our timeline, they'd be set in at least 900 A.D. based on the materials' technology available in Skyrim, which means that it is in fact medieval depending on which country you're from. In Scandinavia we'd call it the Viking age at around that time, but most of the world refers to it as medieval times.

The Empire still exists in that time stream, so it'd be pre-Medieval, as that generally constitutes Post-Roman Empire times. There is nothing in Skyrim that did not exist during the height of the Roman Empire, to include Magick and actual dragons.
