ECX RC2 Questions

Hi,
Is it possible to add AF Characters in ECX RC2? If so, where can I download them? What are the differences between ECX RC1 and ECX RC2?

+ESF openBeta 1.3 final. Why aren't there any servers on? Can I download a patch which fixes some bugs?

ECX RC2 is an update to RC1. WIth RC1 you can not install custom made CCI characters. With RC2 you can do so.

As for the open beta. There are no servers cause people dont play it. They just say its to buggy and go play 1.2.3 There is no bug fixes for the open beta. Youll just have to wait till 1.3 is fully done.

yes, its possible to add AF characters to ECX RC2. say u wanted af goku/vegeta. download the file. then, go to my computer/localdisc/programfiles/steam/steamapps/(youraccountname)/halflife. take this script, core, models, ect and put them into ESF. then go into ESF and double click models. then double click the SC in the file u just downloaded. then take those characters and put them into the player file. then go play esf with ur new characters

The player file is for models only.

You have to put the amxx files into the correct foulder, the sound files into the correct foulder and the sprites into the sprites.

Putting everything into the "esf/models/player" wont do a thing.

But it's possible to install plugins with ESF 1.2.3+ECX:RC2 +BP. 8.4?

Its possible. But you have to use the core pluggin loader instead of the AMX pluggins.ini
