Damn my inactivity. I was gonna post the same photo
That photo is pointless because it never made sense back then either lol. B, A, Y, X wtf?Damn my inactivity. I was gonna post the same photo
It obviously made sense to someone. That photo is pointless because it never made sense back then either lol. B, A, Y, X wtf?
No I mean, it doesn't make sense because why those letters? Why not A, B, X, Z (most alphabets don't have Y) ? Or why not A, B, Y, Z? Why Y? Why is Y even there it's such a random letter lol.The reason it goes Y-X;B-A is because the Japanese read from Right to Left, not Left to Right. They considered the ergonomics of holding the controller from this perspective. Did noone ever notice O was the confirm button on JP PSX games, not X like EU/US games and figure this out?
Yea so my point is why use the first 2 letters of the alphabet but then not use the last two letters of the alphabet instead of X, Y ? So to make any sense of a pattern or rational thought it should of been A, B, Y, Z and not A, B, X, Y lol. Just saying it still don't make sense compared to the PS controllers. I will shut up now.A-B = first two letters of English alphabet
Y-Z = last two letters of English alphabet
Idk about other languages though...![]()
The only thing that makes sense on a playstation controller is R1, R2, L1, L2. " Hey let's throw some random ******* shapes on a controller and call it a day guys.
