It’s been a couple of months since our last feature of Black Mesa, right? Well, as we informed you back in January, the team behind Black Mesa would be releasing first its soundtrack and then the full game would follow. The gap between the soundtrack and the mod was said to be around two weeks. And it seems that the Black Mesa team is getting ready for a Summer release, as the soundtrack is expected to be released in the following days.
Maybe...it could happen. The mod could actually release people. Black Mesa could release ~

Yes.

It's one of those mods everyone thinks is troll / says they don't care about anymore / or sucks, just due to it's popularity. They somehow forgot, during this all, that it's made by a handful of people, in their spare time, with most being able to donate one day a week to it. Somehow they thought this was "not enough" and the mod suddenly became the next Duke Nukem Forever. Granted, it has an insane level of popularity mainly due to the trailer which built insane hype:

Yeah.

But not to say anything bad about ESF, but Black Mesa easily has 100x the popularity, and that's under estimating it. I mean, even Gaben said he is looking forward to playing it. As did several of the original developers for Half-Life. It was featured on TV before on a few video game channels. It's popularity is right up there due to the professional look.

Like I said though, people saw that trailer and suddenly because the mod didn't release, it became the stuff of Legends. The amount of trolling surrounding Black Mesa is retarded. More so than alot of actual games get.

If this releases, I expect to see a wave of 3/10 reviews or whatnot of just trololololo's.
