On dbzforums it says they all think it is from the intro, to well finetuned to look just like the animes transformation vegeta does to be anything but that.

I think its the story tho.

I'm beginning to doubt it. If there were, we'd have heard about it already. We've seen nothing that proves there really are in-game transformations. On the contrary, we have more reason to believe that there aren't any in-game transes, because each character has his/her seperate forms listen in the Character Select screen.

It would be nice if there WERE in-game transes, but I highly doubt it.

But in the Movie you could see vegeta go SSJ from Normal form.
YOu even seen the Hair change. Maybe teh Producers let everytime in an Month slip pit an small Secret ^^ what wasnt known till now ^^..

After thinking again. I think there actually be Transformations ingame.
Cause if this was only the Intro to an Fight where Vegeta went SSj to get ready to fight, then they have to make the same with Goku and i somehow doubt that they skip SSJ/SSj2 and go instant SSj3 or go real fast thru all the Transformations so you can fight as ssj3.

but then again... i could be wrong

EDIT: I just watched the movie again, and I know what you guys mean. Vegeta DID transform.

But that wasn't an in-game transformation.

When the clip starts, you see a shot of Goku, Gohan and some others all way too high-detail to be in-game characters. Furthermore, there was no HUD or anything, plus the camera was at an odd angle. At best, this was just a promotional animation made for the event, or it was from the intro movie or perhaps a cutscene from the story mode.

You guys need to be more critical about such things, if you just go and assume things you'll end up being disappointed.

Indeed. Is the Japanese version out yet? I don't believe so. If it is, it might be that.

Doesn't take away from the fact that he didn't say WHY it sucked, even if it IS BT.

+scratches his head+ Sorry but I don't get what you mean, yeah the media is mostly in Japanese, but how does that tie in with a Japanese release of the game? Or were you referring to the fact that because most of the media we see is Japanese, that an English version is still far off? In that, I would have to agree, but my point was that, if a Japanese version has not been released yet, there is no way he could have played the game at his friend's house. Demo versions of console games are becoming a rarity nowadays, except of course for those in stores.

Ok watched the clip,(gamespots video footage isnt that great,the screen must be small or it sucks,i'v always hated that)but any way.That didnt look like an ingame transformation at all,it looked more like a cutscene.I wouldnt get to happy about that.As said above it look as if vegeta was getting ready to fight so he transed,it will most likely be to where he transed in story cu-scene and you fight with ssj vegeta.Or could be a game intro movie,or part of it.
