Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Z

Seems like a nice substitute, while we wait for ESF Final. Gameplay mechanics seem to be similar, and it even features a story-mode that you can co-op through. Has anybody thought of checking this game out?

Critically speaking it plays like street fighter being covered with another layer that puts a DBZ theme to it. But these kind of games will never be as prestigious as SF.

I'll probably get it, despite the 90/10 shot of it being a disappointment. I'm still a fanboy at heart so anything DBZ related is an instant buy.

4x4 isn't forced. You can choose to leave teammate slots empty.

The game tries something but it doesn't really work out as far as saw in the videos. Swoop looks weird. It's good that there's a lock-on but can it be disabled? If not then it takes away a lot of the "freedom" experience.
Also the art style and graphics are not impressive. All in all i wouldn't buy it just for the co-op.

I'm enjoying the way the game handles honestly. Though I would appreciate a little more variation among characters(like more than one combo for melee), it still doesn't stop the game from being fast-paced and just downright fun.

This game reminds me a lot of Battle Royale, but more fast-paced. I checked out the demo and had a great time with it, I didn't try do any matches online though.

This demo is way better than Raging Blast 2's.

pro: epic team matches , and alot freeroam

contra: no combos well nearly NO , chain max is 4, no transformations while fighting, YOU NEED TO HAVE 4 PLAYERS TO fight in story or online mode or vs duel!!!

fazit: not worth 60 bucks

OH AND PS: NO BEAM Struggles!
