Do YOU Belive in Ghosts?

Yep, i sure do believe in ghosts.

Let's put it this way, I'd really like to believe there are ghosts or certain entities that are invisible to the human eye, but I have yet to see any proof. And I'm not talking about little orbs 'o light, I mean the real thing.

I've had my experiences where I didn't know what the hell I was witnessing, it's some pretty crazy stuff.

I don't believe in ghosts. When you die, you go to Heaven or the grand bbq. There's no such thing as sticking around.

Nope, don't believe in the afterlife at all. As far as I'm concerned, when you die, you stop being alive, eventually your body rots away, and then you're as nonexistent as before you were born.

I believe also in reincarnation and what not, my beliefs are just it is impossible to cease to exist.

Well.. Yeah.. Not exactly ghosts, but spirits. I have never *seen* a ghost, but I could feel that something was in the room except me. I've also seen some other very scary stuff which I won't bring up here seeing as nobody would believe me.

Why would we tell our stories to someone who doesnt believe?

Because these stories are intriguing, whether you believe or not. I don't believe in an afterlife or any religion but does that necessarily mean that there can't be a ghost? I'm starting to believe in this strange world I keep dreaming about that is the physical manifestation of all psychological goings on in my life. According to the characters in this recurring dream, a "ghost" is their word for someone who has died in one world and not died in the other. In their world, the person goes insane; if the person dies on their half, they are "ghosts" up here. (That would explain why so many mental institutions seem to be haunted, eh?)

I don't believe in ghosts but there are many phenomena that are incredibly difficult to explain, such as Electronic Voice Phenomena, or EVPs. Then again it is not so farfetched when I believe that the most heinous wrongs or the most righteous rights can, in a given scenario, leave a mark on our fragile plain of existence.

I once went into this old abandoned house and found it filled with strange things, objects that appeared to be random throw-away garbage yet could never have fit through the door. It was as if the house came out of the ground and wrapped itself around the various junk. There were strange poems in there about children sleeping and having "slices of death"...very strange considering your typical homeless guy ranting wouldn't be so homicidal or melodramatic. By far the strangest thing was how the grass in the field around this house had been seeded in April but we went there on the 4th of July and it had yet to grow (only in the immediate area around the house). I suppose there are explanantions for all of this, but it is still interesting to speculate.

I've gone back and forth beleiving, and not beleiving.... nut I've had too many experiences to keep denying it. Some weird stuff has happened to me over the years, so I'd say, yes, I beleive in ghosts. If I'm wrong... then I guess I just have a vivid imagination.

i havent had any expeiences as such as far as i can remember *touch wood i dont :S*
but i know my cousins (2 sisters) hear the younger sisters name being called in a high samll girlish voice(no its no1 in da house coz it happens wen its just me n them aswell) every so often n they often go 'heard it' at exactly the same time wen they hear it randomly so i think i do believe them.
But i believe there are spirits out there but im not too sure , but i dont rele want to find out for some reason i dont want to know anymore than that.

No, I don't believe in ghosts. Most likely because I choose not to see an odd projection of light or the swish of some branches as something caused by a ghost.

Well personaly I belive in ghosts and im not scared of them (till now) sometimes I actualy feel like a strong energy would go throo my bodey. Like throo my arm. And 1 time my wach just fell off the desk only the wack and nothing else I was across the room at that time. But i didnt see aney strange lights or orbsjust the clock that fell on the flor.

But there are Moments where scare the **** out of one.
Like thism and its thru NO lie.
Its maybe 3-4 years ago, a day where i finally get my first Printer, well i wanted to set it up the next day so i didnt plug it ANYWHERE in not into the pc or (English word?) the Electricity thinngy.
Anyway i was in bed and woke up around 02.00 AM and couldnt sleep anymore BUT 15-30 Minutes later my Printer started to print a empty side out, i was like WHOO **** ! o_o . Damn i hide my head under my pillow and layed the rest of the night with open eyes under there, till there was light in my room.
In the Morning i looked at the printer but NO cabel was in only an empty Page...

Damn i took the Printer and locked i into my cloest, that thing freaked me out.
And thats about it only that happend nothing else, but i dont believe in ghost or stuff like that

also i dont see a rule that says "dont tell your stories to someone who doesnt believe in ghosts" >_>

So, as it should be, every person who dies goes to heaven or hell. There's no in between, no maybes, nothing. Let's be hypothetical for a second and say there was no god, no supreme being. You die, instead of your life ending, you mystically become a ghost. Which means since you no longer have a body, it must be a "soul". This "soul" some how manifests a figure, only seen by other "souls". You live.. or rather.. stay dead for the rest of your pathetic life walking around the earth for eternity. Sounds pretty crappy to me, way more far fetched than believing in god. If you have enough faith to believe in something like that, than you guys have far more faith than i do. Oh well, food for thought.

Agreed. And on a side note...why the hell would anyone be scared of them anyway? They are non-living matter. They cant hurt you and if they are non-living matter how can they make noise or touch anything at all? They can't its physically impossible. Now psychological, your brain does play tricks on you. Actually, it's you playing the trick on yourself. If you go into it too much or let it control you...you will think you saw something that's all it is. My answer is obvious. I dont believe in ghosts nor am scared of them.
