Deicated Server Wont Show up in list

- I am using steam HLDS (is there any other way ?!?!)
- I can connect locally
- ESF 1.2.3
- Running AMX Mod X w/ ESF add-on
- I have already set port 27015 USP to be forwarded to the host computer
- No error messegase, it says:

Connection to Steam, servers successful.
VAC secure mode is activated.
Adding master server 68.142.72.250:27010

Please Help

sv_lan <0 Off | 1 On > could be ur biggest issue. make shure this is always 0


Make shure its fowarded and firewalls are off.

I will add that, but when I launch HLDS, it asks whether I want it to host on the net, or on my LAN. So I don't think thats the issue.

What I am about to show you is not nessessarly the solution, but it will help you later on with your problems (And I see some usless data that is probally your problem)

FIRST: Delete server.vdf
-I believe that this is a usless file appears to be such.
SECOND: Your server.cfg
-You have USLESS stuff in there:

ip x.x.x.x//my actual ip is here
//server port
port 27015
THIESE ARE HANDLED BY HALF-LIFE. THE ONLY REASON WHY YOU WOULD NEED THE PORT IS IF YOU ARE USING MULTIPLE SERVERS AND YOU WANT TO USE THE SAME CONNECTION.
Delete thiese.
THIRD: server.cfg continued
If you are using HLDS then the hostname, maxplayers, and the rconpassword is automatically taken care of by the startup. If you are using an external program to start it up then tell me so I have to through more of a headache to tell you waht to do.
FOURTH: check yourself
-Fact: Some routerscan change about which extension you are such as I had a router that would sometimes give me 192.168.1.1 and other times 192.168.1.2
-Checking yourself: Go to command prompt. Use ipconfig. You should see your local IP. Make shure that the port forwarding to send it to the proper computer. Just be absolutely shure that the router is sending it on the proper computer and the properport.

There is probally one more thing I forgot. I generally go through all thiswith each person that asks the exact same qustion with diffrent wording. Now if everything is OK here, just say if people arent able to see the server.
Oh, and post your liblist.gam if you arent able to connect.

We DID fix it, but when I added the AMX Mod X it stopped working. Don't ask how, because the installation was full-proof.

SS4 Gogeta is the one that had me put that extra stuff in, and it seemed to work. Thx for the info, I'll delete Delete server.vdf and strip the extra stuff. My router did switch ip's once, but then I fixed the issue, so that can't be it either.

You said when you added AMXModX on the server it stopped working? This might not fix it, but you can at least try it. Move all the files within the cl_dlls folder to your dlls folder, and boot up the server again. I said it might not fix it because this is a solution to get AMXModX to work on linux build, not windows. But as said, you could try it out.

And if that hasn't fixed it, are you sure you installed the right AMXModX? As in, not installed the Linux version for example? You never know ^_^.
