Counter-Strike: Global Offensive beta

Anyone else get the beta last week? I tried it out and there's just enough to make it different from source...but it's still counter-strike. The only difference I can find in the game is that they seem to be making the recoil mechanics a bigger part of the game. And molotov cocktails. But that shoulda already been in the game 4 years ago.

So, thoughts anyone?

1.6 was great. I still love 1.3 the most though. Just basically the way it was back then. So many glitches that made stuff fun.

1.5 was also good (no frigging shield ) I don't really remember 1.3 so well.

I only own/played counter strike source. Dont really know why the fights like 1.6 da best and stuff. Whats the difference?

I have beta since i won contest on SK-gaming some few months ago.

My opinion about this game:

Copied CS: Source with retexture, changed models, changed maps, changed weapon models, new menu and radar (woah!)

Nothing special to be honest but game is pretty funny

Nonsense. CSS was a copy of CS. And that's not necessarily a bad thing. In comparison to CSGO, at least.

And I'm disagreeing with that. CSS is a copy of CS, and CSGO doesn't look anything like CS or CSS, gameplay wise.

Yea, CS:GO is no where near a copy of CS:S. It plays like CS1.6. The maps are slightly changed up. They added a lot of guns and misc items to the game. A lot of stuff is different about this game.

It IS different, just not much different. Gun mechanics work a little differently, and they feel really good to fire. And cmon, molotov cocktail. But what I'd like is to see a quick story-mode thrown into the game for a change.

Am i the only one who enjoyed CZ deleted scenes?

Well CS:S is a copy of 1.6, so hypothetically it must be a copy of CS:S as well? And so what if they are? It's the frigging same game, newer versions. Call of Duty is a perfect example of similar versions, BF series is a little better but still nowhere near.
