Client.dll no dumbass answers

I had to reinstall everything on my computer...again... and i forgot how to fix the client.dll problem...again.. ive searched for the answer but all i got was that damn fmod.dll thing that doesnt even work, i know i used a different way to fix it last time, just forgot how.


does anyone remember how? and no, that damn fmod thing aint working. please dont move this or close it, the other threads were worthless and did not provide the answer.

When you install 2.0, the installer puts the FMOD.dll into either your Win Dir or Win32 Dir (forgets which one). Just go in the directory, find it, and cut it out and paste it into your HL Directory (There Hibiki, I finally told them where to find the FMOD.dll )

Actually it doesn't install it at all... Get fmod.dll from http://home.student.utwente.nl/h.vanwelbergen/fmod.dll
(Don't forget to scream at vt)

If that doesn't work, make sure you have the latest patch for halflife. Older versions of halflife don't support clientside code.
