client.dll error

Evrytime i start the game i see nothing but the backround screen and then it crashed and tells me it couldent load.

C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\*my E-Mail*\half-life\esf\cl_dlls\client.dll

None i know knows how to fix it HELP!!! im going to kill something!!! the only "progress" ive made is when i just take the client compleatly out of the folder... then it alteast dosent crash, right away... but i cant join a server at that point and... when i put the client back in it joins and once i see any hint of a game... IT CLOSES!!!

downlaod the fmod.dll from esf-world

yup that did the trick thanks guys. now to figure out how to avoide getting spam killed by some ass with uber kamehameha...... :S
