changing the file path for hl to set up bot

i dont get it, it says to change the path name
"C:\SIERRA\Half-Life\hl.exe"
to
"C:\SIERRA\Half-Life\hl.exe -console"
it wont allow me. when i change it and click aply an error comes up and says: the name is not valid, so how do i change the path name?

you have to right click and go to 'properties'
click the 'shortcut button at the top and in the box that says 'target' type in C: /sierra.... blah blah blah
also, if you add ' -game esf' to the end after youve typed -console the game will load straight into ESF

its becuase you have the -console inside the quotes.....make sure that command parameter is outside the quotes.....or you can copy and paste it into your target line....

"C: \SIERRA\Half-Life\hl.exe" -console

and remember to remove that space after the colon
