a few weeks ago i started do try out modeling, i done the head and the body then i stopped, today i finished it of. this is my first model. its mixed with the skinny brown buu with super buu. the body is a bit buff but since its my first model i just made what ever. polys = 844 everyone please comments

Well, impresive. Muc better then mine first. But, U should fix those cyrcles of wires on his back and his chins. And his head is too forward together with neck, IMO u should turn it a lil bit back.

thanks fo the comments guys. yeah ill fix em soon and move it back into better proportion. it looks better when viewing it then looking at it from the bad quality images. does anybody have any tuts on how to uv map or skin it?

first of hit "m" then on fixed and ok
then hit "I" and ok
then hit "w" , and hit space if you are not in the polygon Statistic:

Uhm, yes please take a pic of the statistic pannel with the actually model =P, but befor hit TAB for not making the polygons be smooth.

ok i also made a second model today in 3 hours tops. atm i can only make models that require no hair because i cant model hair :|, ill show some pics of the second model later anyways heres some flatshaded pics of the buu

Do something about the smoth erors on his cheecks and forehead. Try deleting the polygon (the one at the cheeck) and remaking him in smaller pieces, 2 or 3 should so the smoth eror would go away.

you still didnt removed the subpatch (the roundish polygons), just hit Tab.

Anyway here:

and second, i bet there should be on the same panel a 4> Polygons bar should apear if you scroll down.
if yes, click on the white "+" of it and hit "T" =)

I understand it's your first, you still have a long way to go.
Lesson 1, Gather as much reference as you can before starting.

ok i fixed it lion heart, also this is my second model i made from scratch today in 3 hours max. 1053 polys

the leg parts of this model isnt pants i just added a belt and i couldnt be botherd adding toes and i didnt add the slang lol i also realy need to learn how to uv map and skin so apply tuts plz

ok pixel i done what you said, and i also didnt use sub patching in my second model. and shadyD@ i didnt follow any refs for the body at all. and as i said its a mixed buu with skinny buu and super buu

Don't do that unless you have a very good sense of proportions.
