Bugged WoW items?

This happened earlier today, someone was selling this for 1000g. Huge talk on trade chat, any idea what happened?

i remember a while back there was a way to alter the way an item displayed its stats. i dont think it really effects the item attributes though. just like a text thing, like how you link items and ****.

Yeah, no kidding. I doubt it's anything to be concerned about though. If it were a serious problem, Blizzard would fix it. Wouldn't they?

Even though off-topic, WoW ain't that great. Way to many are addicted to the game, which is rather bad.

Hahaha, a piece of gear that would literally let you solo any raid instance and he sells it for 1k. Yeah, that's not a fake item at all.

Actually this happens alot, I have seen it about 4 times ingame. The second you equip the item the stats go back to normal.

yeah its just some text editing.

theres a way to change the name of the item as well.
