beta 1.2 maps

for some reason when i try to play esf and use the esf maps it won't show them it will only allow me to choose the half life multiplay maps, i checked in the folder that holds the maps and they are thier
how should i fix this

1. Use steam
2. Make sure you installed right
3. No idea after those 2

he is wrong actually if your using WON make sure that the shortcut you use, has the path correct!
On the shortcut right click and click properties, then make sure the shortcuts path reads like this! C:\Sierra\Half-Life\hl.exe -console -game esf
if it doesnt have -console in its path, then it wont work!

i tried both of those ideas i kinda figured there might be an extra download to get esf 1.2 to work with steam unless its already built into it but steam doesn't seem to recognize esf

Calm down brolly, hes new *Stabs Brolly*

Try closing Steam, then reinstall ESF, then open Steam...Run HL then go back to steam menu, load ESF and tada! Should work.
