Beta 1.1 Bots

Yeah when I attempt to install the bots for Beta 1.1 it reaches 100% and tells me that MSVBBM60.DLL was not found. Do you know how this is fixed?

well try and open it in an new window it worked fine for me.

It still gives me the missing .DLL file. Do you think it is because I downloaded the patch instead of the Full thing?

i have another problem,i have installed it and i shall push "=" to activate the botmenu,it doesnt function,what can i do.how can i change it.

there is a program in the zip file, you must extract all the files in your esf direction and than you must open that program (the one in your esf direction) and press activate

hmm when exactly do you see the missing dll thing ?? anyway when activating the bots with activatebots.exe it check for bot.cfg in your esf map and the hl.dll in your esf\dlls map if these ones don't exists it can give an error so..

either the esf_bot_2.zip or esf_bot_setup.exe

ehh if the menu doesn't pop up type this in the console:
bind "=" "bot_menu"

I get the DLL error when I attempt to activate the Bots. I also have the DLLs you mentioned and the bot.cfg

ohw and one last thing is your new esf installed in a map called esf ?? thats neccesealy too anyway if you can't get it to work try this: open your liblist.gam found in the esf map and replace this line:

gamedll "dlls\hl.dll"

to this:

gamedll "dlls\esf_bot.dll"

the easiest way is to download the setup because then you dont have to do it self.
It´s rather hard to have a difficulty not get it working with an setup file.

yep agreed but for some reason installers won't work with anyone
