I also have to express my true love for TFC, it always being the mod that helped me realize how overated Counter-Strike really is. Give me a sniper rifle; make sure the engineers keep the turrets up; the soldiers, spies, and the hwguys are always on the offensive; and our team would be unstoppable.

My friends and I used to have big TFC LAN parties and plan out strategies for the popular maps. We'd sit in school and write down effective class combinations, sentry support, best sniping strategies for 2fort, well, casbah, you name it. Oh man, we needed help back then. XD

TFC . . .

The only game I could EVER stand playing long enough to play into the wee hours of the morning. TFC, by far is the greatest game on Steam.

The memories . . . Rocket Jumping across a map and ripping apart people with a few good primed 'nades. Ah, the good ol' days.

Anyways, I'd have to go with good ole CS, no matter how many times I stop playing it, I always come back to give it another go.

I didn't really like TFC either, personally. Anything with rocket jumps in it, I tend to not like. :0\

I think that Specialists and ESF are my two favorites, even though they aren't offical steam mods.

I guess given the choices, though, TFC is probably the better one.

Well supposedly Valve are doing a TFC Source, just an updated TFC like the Counter Strike Source. I doubt it will be too long before we see it. Then TF2 is on Source aswell, but I heard it was going to be a standalone product Oh well, I guess TFC source will do just fine.

Hate to break this to you.. but almost all of the games Steam offers are mods of Half-life, which isn't an original engine anyway.
