I don't think its really a bad thing that they'd be remaking it, i just find it... Well.. Pointless if anything. Even if FF7 was a kick ass game, it would pretty much just be a waste of time if you think about it. But it would be cool to see what it would be like now. It better not be like when you play FF9 on the PS2, like that sorta improved graphics or thats gonna suck ass

lol, c ya

I seriously doubt that they would be remaking FF7. That game is huge..it would take to long to rebuild an old game. Rerelease the game once again? Maybe. That's more likely than a complete remake.

I don't think they're gonna do what capcom is doing to resident evil(completely remaking the first one for gamecube).

i really hope they make a fft2.... that would own... fft is still the best tactics game ever.... so i would asume they would want to make more money by making a newer game..

 ps2 fft
HELL YEA. They did make a FFT Advance... i played it.. its very good .. but only for GameBoy Standards.

The Day they make an online FFT with random PVP encounters, is the day i smash up my half-life cd and burn the key, and flush it down the toilet.

I think the mass production of FF games is sickening.. so far theres only 4 FF games i would even spend money on
(in past)
FF3 (aka6)
FF7
FFTactics
FFTactics Advance

(future)
FFT2
Remade FF3.

I never beat FF7 myself, i got to disc 3 on 4 different saves (starting over each time over a few years), got bored, and went back to playing other games.

FF7 then FF6 a very very close second.

FF5 + Tactics ... They are ok, I just don't care for the job system. It just feels like when there is a job system I concentrate more on leveling my characters than actually playing the game for the story.

Also, since all the characters can become every class it just doesn't feel like any of the characters are really very special or different from one another.
